Clear big fields of bales fast! For over 40 years, New Holland bale wagons have transformed the back-breaking labor of moving and stacking bales into a job that's almost effortless. Now, New Holland makes this job faster than ever with the new H9800 Series self-propelled automatic bale wagons. New Holland also offers Model 1037—a pull-type bale wagon that you can put behind your tractor and pick up, load and stack bales right from your seat. H9800 Series Self-propelled Automatic Bale Wagons The H9880 has a long frame and load rack for easily loading two-bale-wide stacks of 15 in. x 22 in. or 15 in. x 23 in. three-tie bales, or 16 in. x 18 in. two-tie bales. Rugged H9800 Series construction ensures consistent performance year after year. The H9800 Series cab provides a new level of comfort and efficiency. The Stack Command™ control system allows you to program and control how you want to stack the bales on the wagon. The MIL-STAK® large bale handling attachment allows you to handle large 3 ft. x 3 ft. or 3 ft. x 4 ft. rectangular bales easily. A new powerful, six-cylinder, turbocharged engine provides increased horsepower compared to previous models. It also provides greater fuel economy, is easy on the environment with lower emissions and is biodiesel compatible. The Allison 2000 five-speed automatic transmission with lock-up torque converter provides excellent speed matching ability. First gear provides a slower ground speed for increased productivity in high-density crops, while the overdrive in fifth gear gives you a fast 50-mph, no-load road speed. Two hydraulic systems with three pumps provide plenty of flow, allowing you to pick up more bales in a day. A 6.7-gpm gear pump provides flow for the power steering and brake booster. The bale loader and cross conveyor are supplied by a 13.8-gpm gear pump. And a 29.0-gpm piston pump provides flow for the closed-center system, which operates functions that require higher flow, such as the tables and load rack. Two hydraulic valve manifolds—one for the gear pumps and one for the piston pump—provide easier servicing. A sight gauge on the hydraulic tank takes only a glance to monitor the oil level. The four-piston front and rear disc brakes provide better braking performance and easier servicing than drum brakes. MIL-STAK is a registered trademark of MIL-STAK Inc.
The H9800 Series self-propelled bale wagons build on New Holland's legacy of reliability. New Holland engineers used state-of-the-art Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate and eliminate the stress points in the main frame and provide more durability and extend service life. Frame channels are one-piece, thick 3/8-in. steel for outstanding strength. Structural tubing is used in place of formed channels for the cross members, adding to service life. The second table, load rack, rolling rack, and side supports have been designed for improved strength and durability. Sealed rear brake lights and turn signals are water and dust proof, and are iso-mounted. H9800 Series Cab Climb aboard an H9800 Series self-propelled bale wagon, and you'll find that New Holland has designed the cab to ensure your comfort and efficiency the moment you step inside. The cab is iso-mounted to reduce noise and vibration. The narrow steering column, front instrument panel and right-hand console are designed to provide ample knee and leg room during long hours in the cab, and the tilt steering column adjusts to fit you perfectly. The air-ride seat keeps you comfortable even on the longest days. An easy-to-use multifunction handle allows you to control all machine functions. The handle position adjusts up and down, fore and aft, and rotates to put it in the perfect position for you. A warning light display tower provides information on key functions. The Allison 2000 transmission shift lever and two-speed range selector switch are positioned conveniently to your right. The curved windshield and large side and rear windows provide excellent all-around visibility. An inside rearview mirror provides second table visibility. Front lighting increases your nighttime visibility. The lighting package includes dual headlamps featuring high and low beams and two additional work lights at the top of the cab. The cab is also pre-wired for an additional optional work light at the rear. Shading, added to the top of the side windows, helps keep you cool by cutting down on heat absorption. The climate control system includes double the number of vents and a recirculation mode, so you can control the flow of air conditioning and heat to suit your liking. Additional conveniences that make a difference in your day include:
The Stack Command™ control system makes loading and unloading bales as easy as driving. You control everything electronically from the cab. A large selection of stack patterns and ample space for custom programs allow you to choose or customize stacking to match your needs. There are 35 pre-programmed stack patterns and room for 20 custom patterns that you create. A "favorites" stack pattern function allows you to scroll through only those patterns you use the most, making stack selection quicker and easier. The system is Electronic Service Tool (EST) compatible for software revisions. The optional first table and/or auxiliary first table flow control valves allow you to adjust the delivery speed to match bale conditions—ideal if you deal with bales that vary greatly in weight. The multi-function handle lets you operate the load rack, rolling rack and push-off feet when you're ready to unload. The load rack has two raise speeds putting precise control at your fingertips. The rolling rack allows you to stack partial loads when necessary. H9800 Series MIL-STAK® Attachment Add the optional MIL-STAK® big rectangular bale handling attachment to your H9800 Series bale wagon to easily handle 3 ft. x 3 ft. and 3 ft. x 4 ft. rectangular bales. MIL-STAK Specifications: H9870 3 ft. x 3 ft. bales per load: 15 H9880 3 ft. x 3 ft. bales per load: 15 The MIL-STAK attachment can be removed easily so you can switch back to picking up small square bales in no time. A new, heavy-duty front axle allows the H9880 and H9870 to accept the payload capacity requirements of the MIL-STAK attachment. 1037 Pull-type Bale Wagon Put a New Holland 1037 pull-type bale wagon behind your tractor, and you have a bale-stacking master that's ready for action. You can pick up, load and stack bales without moving from your tractor seat. The 1037 handles three-bale-wide loads (104 14 in. x 18 in. or 83 16 in. x 18 in.)—about four tons per load. Mechanically controlled tier formation makes a perfect stack every time. The rolling rack allows you to stack full or partial loads. The open load-rack floor provides extra visibility when stacking. Operation is simple. Just hook up to your tractor's PTO, engage it and drive. The controls for bale pick up, loading and stacking are within easy reach. An optional remote control kit lets you put the controls right on your tractor. ![]() |
