TD5000 Tractors Top performance matched with top value If you're looking for a tractor with reliable power at a price that fits a modest budget, look no further—New Holland TD5000 Series tractors are for you. Biodiesel approved! As the biodiesel clean-energy leader, New Holland approves the use of farmer-grown biodiesel for all TDD tractors.* By using clean-burning, environmentally friendly, biodiesel fuel you contribute to: Cleaner air from reduced emissions Two models—the TD5030 and the TD5050—combine modern styling and proven components with economical simplicity. Both are available in 2WD or FWD, and with an open operator station or a factory-installed, climate-controlled cab. You can choose the model that suits the work you do—whether that’s working with a loader, baler or blade. Proven four-cylinder engines deliver reliable power and outstanding torque response for pulling power when you need it. A 12 x 12 transmission with synchronized mechanical shuttle provides you with more speed choices and greater convenience than you’ll find on the transmissions offered on other economy tractors. Choose a spacious, cab or open operator station. Both offer an outstanding view and make it easy to enter the tractor from either side. High-capacity hydraulic system uses two pumps to deliver 21.7 gpm of total flow so you are assured of fast steering response and implement control. The fully independent 540-rpm PTO is standard equipment. A 540/1000-rpm PTO is optional on the TD5050. Convenient servicing is another way that TDD tractors save you time and effort.
TD5000 tractors are equipped with four-cylinder diesel engines with a history of solid performance. Low fuel consumption and long service intervals save you time and money. A torque response up to 37% assures you of ample lugging power to pull through difficult soil conditions, climb grades, or run hay and harvesting equipment efficiently in heavy crop conditions. The computer-designed, parent-bore cylinder block has a contoured outer surface and stiffening gussets for awesome strength and noise reduction. The durable, dry-sleeve design also extends engine life. A cross-flow cylinder head design keeps intake air cool and dense for superior combustion and excellent fuel economy. Reduced smoke and emissions meet strict Tier III emissions certification requirements to go easy on the environment. Unlike other economy tractors you’ll find on the market, TD5000 Series tractors come standard with a 12 x 12 synchronized transmission. Match the equal number of forward and reverse gears with a dedicated, synchronized mechanical shuttle and you get a true shuttle shift transmission for quick direction changes and easier loader work. You get four synchronized, shift-on-the-go gears within each range, after you select one of the three ranges. Eight of the 12 gears fall in the critical two- to eight-mph working range for more working speed choices than you’ll find on other economy tractors of this size. A creeper transmission is available for low-speed applications. It provides two additional ranges of creep gears that include seven gears below 1 mph. TD5000 tractors boast outstanding hydraulic performance, allowing you to handle multiple tasks and large implements with ease. A dedicated, high-capacity 13.6-gpm implement pump provides flow for the rear remotes, joystick-controlled loader valves and the three-point hitch. A separate 8.1-gpm steering pump assures you of steering power on demand. The Category II three-point hitch features mechanical draft control with lower-link draft sensing. The standard Lift-O-Matic™ feature allows you to raise or lower the three-point hitch with the push of a button at the end of the row. An impressive 5,025 pounds of three-point hitch capacity means you can use the largest three-point mounted implements to handle jobs faster. Up to three rear remotes can be installed, either from the factory or added at the dealership. One remote comes standard. Color-coded remote levers and coupler dust covers assist in operation and implement hook up. Cab/Operator Station Whether you choose a TD5000 tractor with or without a factory-installed cab, you get a tractor designed to maker your work more pleasant. You’ll appreciate the vantage point from the seat, since the sloped TDD hood allows for exceptional visibility. Isolation mounting, with rubber bushings between the mounts on the transmission housing and the operator platform or cab, limits the vibration and noise you feel when traveling over rough ground. A rubber floor mat is also standard equipment which also helps to dampen noise. An adjustable mechanical suspension seat with armrests and a tilt steering wheel provides comfortable seating on all TD5000 models. A vinyl seat is used on ROPs models, and a cloth seat on cab models. The two cab doors open wide, and a large threshold provides easy access. A front wiper and dual exterior mirrors are additional standard features on cab models. Roomy, uncluttered flat deck offers lots of legroom. And, without the typical hump in the floor, it’s easy to enter and exit from either side of the tractor. Steps and large grab handles are standard on both sides of the tractor. ROPS models include clear plexi-glass mudguards to deflect dirt, heat and engine noise. Controls are conveniently positioned for easy operation. Easy-to-read instrument cluster keeps you informed with analog gauges and warning lights. Simple, easy service access is incorporated into the design of TD5000 tractors. Service checkpoints are easy to reach from ground level to take the hassle out of routine maintenance. The one-piece hood flips open easily on a gas strut for hassle-free access to engine service points—no clumsy side panels to remove! The battery, radiator, A/C condenser and engine air filter can be reached easily under the flip-up hood. Engine oil level can be checked and topped off without raising the hood. A single dipstick at the rear of the tractor allows you to check transmission and hydraulic oil level. Side-mounted fuel tank has a capacity of 23.8 gallons for a full day in the field. Refilling is fast and convenient from the ground level location. ![]() |
