Greater power, comfort and control

Get ready to improve your bottom line with the higher performance standards set by the NEW T9000 Series 4WD tractors. Whether you work with the widest, deepest implements on the hilliest terrain, or scrape and haul heavy loads of earth in the most grueling conditions, a new T9000 tractor is your best choice.

Biodiesel approved! As the biodiesel clean-energy leader, New Holland approves the use of farmer-grown B100 biodiesel for the T9020 ,T9030, T9040 and T9050 and B20 biodiesel for the T9060.* By using clean-burning, environmentally friendly, biodiesel fuel you contribute to:

  • Cleaner air from reduced emissions
  • Reduced imports of foreign oil
  • The creation of new jobs and a boost for the economy
  • Increased demand for soybeans and other farm products used to produce biodiesel.

*Biodiesel must be high quality, produced to ASTM D6751 standards and purchased from a reputable supplier.

Higher horsepower engines make short work of big-acre farming and earth-hauling jobs.

Larger, more rugged transmissions are also more convenient, featuring AutoShift™ capability on the road and in the field.

The T9000 Series hydraulic system offers huge flow capacity, along with maximum efficiency, instant response and higher three-point hitch lift capacity.

Rugged frame and axles assure that T9000 Series tractors are built to last. Features include a longer wheelbase, a center-pull drawbar design and the largest-diameter bar axle in the industry.

The T9000 Series cab provides a panoramic view, superb comfort and maximum control.

The most hassle-free servicing on the market saves valuable time. Only five daily service items are required, giving T9000 models a class-leading SAE rating for ease of service.

Specially designed T9000 scraper versions are built to handle the demanding duties of pull-type scrapers in commercial land-leveling applications.

The optional IntelliSteer™ auto steering system uses GPS satellite technology to guide your T9000 tractor along straight lines with an accuracy level as precise as +/- 1 inch at speeds up to 18 mph. Every T9000 ag and HD ag powershift model comes from the factory, ready to accept this state-of-the-art system. IntelliSteer gives you ultimate precision by returning to the same row position throughout the season without the stress of following markers. Once in the row, steering is automatic.
The IntelliView™ Plus II color touch-screen display is included with IntelliSteer. It allows you to perform calibrations, data storage control, and operational functions at the tip of your fingers.

A new vandalism lock-down package is now standard on the T9030, T9040, T9050 and T9060. This package includes tabs or brackets that provide the capability to lock the grill screen, transmission and hydraulic fill caps, and the battery service door. The fuel tank is also equipped with a lockable fuel cap.

T9000 Series engines respond with 40% torque rise to break through tough conditions and hilly terrain without downshifting. Five models range from 335 to 535 horsepower, a five-horsepower increase across the board compared to previous models. And, the T9060 gives you up to 54 hp power growth for that deep reserve needed to pull through difficult jobs easily.

Every T9000 engine is EPA Tier III compliant, offering exceptional fuel efficiency using an electronic common-rail fuel injection system and four valves per cylinder.

T9000 Series engines have larger displacement—from 543 cubic inches to 915 cubic inches—for longer life and durability.

The 2000-rpm rated engine speed is still the lowest in the industry for better fuel efficiency, less noise and longer engine life.

Exclusive turbo compounding on the 485-hp T9050 boosts power and fuel economy while reducing noise. Exhaust gases are “recylcled” through a second power turbine to generate even more power.

Electronic fuel control system provides these engines with the perfect amount of fuel at exactly the right time. Timing adjusts with engine rpm to provide enhanced performance, improved fuel economy and easier cold-weather start-up.

The 24-valve cylinder head features four valves per cylinder for better engine breathing, increased power and faster response across the entire power band.

EPA Tier III “green engine” emission compliance assures cleaner air quality.

Generous engine cooling capacity provides the extra cooling needed with higher horsepower engines.

24-volt starting systems and heavy-duty batteries provide faster cold-weather starts on all models.

The convenient constant engine speed switches allow you to set the maximum rpms and then use the speed adjustment switch or throttle to return engine speed to the desired level after making a turn.

T9000 Series power is matched by transmissions that feature wider gears and extra clutch plates for more torque-carrying capacity. Take your pick of either the New Holland 16F x 2R full powershift, featuring AutoShift™, or the 24F x 6R Hi-Low synchroshift transmission, available on select models. You get an exceptional choice of work speeds and smooth-shifting performance.

16-Speed Full Powershift

The 16F x 2R powershift transmission features AutoShift capability, with both field and road operation settings. Auto Field automatically downshifts the tractor to maintain engine rpm and torque as load increases. Then it upshifts as load decreases. The powershift transmission also features a new electronic pulse-width-modulated clutch control that provides ultra-smooth shifts. In Auto Road Operation, the transmission automatically selects the proper gears based on throttle input and road speed.

Enjoy clutch-free, pushbutton shifting and shuttling, plus fingertip control of speed and direction changes with the 16 x 2 powershift transmission. Shift buttons on the throttle handle let you select the gear with the touch of your thumb.

The Skipshift™ feature lets you skip every other gear between 4th and 13th to accelerate quickly.

Eight speeds in the tillage range—from 4 to 8.5 mph, each spaced at half-mile-per-hour intervals—allow you to find the right speed for the right job easily.

24 x 6 Hi-Low Synchroshift

The flexible 24 x 6 Hi-Low synchroshift transmission (available on the T9020 and T9030) is fully synchronized in both the speed and range gears, allowing you to easily shift on the go with a rolling load. It offers four ranges, three forward gears, one reverse and a handy two-speed powershift that doubles your forward speed options from 12 to 24 mph.

Nine speeds are available in the 4 to 8.5 mph working range for outstanding field productivity.

The proven T9000 hydraulic system, including the MegaFlow™ option, delivers even greater flow to meet the needs of high-demand implements. Huge flow capacity, along with maximum efficiency and instantaneous response, means more flexibility and control to handle multiple functions simultaneously without a drop-off in performance.

The efficient closed-center load sensing (CCLS) system delivers the correct flow and pressure where you need it and precisely when it’s needed. The system operates at peak efficiency at all times and goes into low-pressure standby when hydraulic power isn’t needed, to save power and fuel.

A 40-gpm pump is standard (42-gpm on the T9060) to operate steering, three-point hitch, trailer brakes and auxiliary systems. A larger 55-gpm pump is optional (57-gpm on the T9060). But, for really big jobs with huge-capacity hydraulic demands, choose the MegaFlow option.

MegaFlow delivers even more flow by using a second independent, 35-gpm pump, in addition to the larger 55-gpm primary pump. On the T9060, the second pump adds 37 gpm to the 57-gpm primary pump, for a market-leading 94-gpm flow capacity. Combined, these pumps provide two separate circuits, so you can simultaneously operate a low-flow, high-pressure system from one remote, and a high-flow, low-pressure system from another. With MegaFlow hydraulics, you can easily operate high-demand implements such as air seeders, planters and beet lifters with complete confidence.

Up to nine remotes offer greater flexibility for hydraulic operations. Four remote valves are standard equipment.

Hydraulic control levers and couplers are color-coded for easy hook-up and to help track hydraulic operations. You can easily adjust the flow to each remote on-the-go using the electronic controls under the cab armrest. The hitch raise/lower switch and position controls are conveniently located on the armrest control console. Controls for drop seed and upper limit are under the armrest.

A visual readout of flow changes is provided on the performance instrumentation (standard on Ag and HD Ag models). You can also program the flow and adjust the timing to each individual remote.

The highest three-point-hitch lift capacity—up to 19,620 pounds—lets you use larger implements to cover more ground with every pass.

A new load-sensing hydraulic trailer brake control system is optional and ensures secure, priority braking for trailered attachments.

T9000 Series 4WD tractors are built for the long haul with frame dimensions uniquely matched to horsepower. The row-crop chassis (T9020) gives these tractors true 30-inch row capability. There is also the larger chassis (T9030 and T9040) and high-capacity chassis (T9050 and T9060) for heavy-duty ag and commercial applications.

Frame size is matched to horsepower for optimum performance, so additional weight doesn’t have to be added for many applications. When extra ballast is required, a front cast weight bracket can be added to the frame for up to 18 suitcase weights. Suitcase weights and a cast bracket can be added to the rear if there isn’t a three-point hitch. Wheel weights are also available for the front and rear axles.

The longer wheelbase on all models provides a more comfortable ride, more balanced weight distribution for more efficient drawbar pull, and reduced power-hop.

The unique New Holland “center-pull” design has been enhanced further, so that T9000 4WDs can deliver more power where it counts—at the drawbar. Due to an innovative center-channel rear-chassis design, implements apply force to the drawbar directly through the virtual center of the chassis to the articulation point. You get a better pull angle and more efficient pulling power so you can tow wider, heavier implements.

A new heavier-design drawbar uses a 2.5-inch solid bar with a one-inch thick support plate. This construction gives T9000 tractors even more load carrying capacity to meet the demands of today’s high-horsepower requirements. The new drawbar design also allows for substantially increased vertical load ratings, so T9000 tractors can handle today’s scraper pans, grain carts, manure slurry wagons, and other high vertical load implements.

Beefy axles and housings handle the rigors of high-torque loads. Depending on model, bar axle size is either four or four and one-half inches. Massive axle housings provide structural support, while precision-ground spiral bevel gear sets offer strength, durability and quiet operation. Planetary input gears, bearings and final drives are lubricated with pressurized, filtered and cooled oil.

Optional hydraulic differential locks—one for each axle—lock the left and right wheels together for improved traction in slippery conditions.

Hydraulically activated wet disc brakes on front and rear axles are cooled with filtered oil for better stopping power than standard dry-type driveline brakes. A positive, integrated, spring-applied parking brake engages automatically when the engine is turned off.

Welcome to the ultimate field office. The T9000 cab’s unmatched size, spaciousness and all-around visibility allow you to remain highly productive even after long hours.

You'll enjoy 360-degree visibility, thanks to the one-piece, curved windshield, sloping hood and wide back window. There’s just more glass in a T9000 cab—67 square feet—more than you’ll find on other 4WD tractors.

A remarkably low 75-db(A) sound level means the T9000 cab is quiet, too.

All the controls you need are integrated into the armrest for comfortable access, including controls for AutoShift™, hydraulic remotes, flow and timer, diff lock, three-point hitch, custom headland management, optional slip limit, throttle and gear selection.

The comfortable, 22-inch wide air-ride seat and armrest control console swivel in unison (21 degrees to the right, seven degrees to the left) so you can turn for an even better view without straining your eyes or back. The seat also glides eight inches forward or back, and the seat back tilts to accommodate every driver.

An optional seat with AutoComfort™ suspension and built-in, three-position heat control is also available. Trimmed in leather in the luxury cab and velour in the deluxe cab, this seat continuously monitors vehicle ride and automatically adjusts the dampening provided by the seat shock absorber.

The luxury cab option includes exclusive amenities like a heated, grey-leather seat with AutoComfort suspension; a leather instructional seat, black leather-wrapped steering wheel; and leather-trimmed, thickly cushioned armrests. Lots of convenient features add up to day-long comfort:

  • An electronic instrument cluster with both digital and analog gauges is positioned vertically at eye level on the right-hand cab post. With a quick glance you can get all the operational information you need from these gauges—now even easier to read.

The Intelliview™ Plus II monitor features a large, 10.4-inch color touch-screen display mounted to the right-hand window bar for easy fingertip operation. This monitor allows you to set and view all functions, including those usually displayed on the corner-post instrument panel.

Performance Instrumentation (standard on Ag and HD Ag powershift models) provides critical data on-the-go, including percentage of power used, fuel usage, remaining fuel, ground speed, and wheel slip (if equipped with radar). This cluster also features:

Electro-hydraulic remote individual timer controls with visual remote flow readings
Service reminders
Engine shut-down protection if oil pressure is low or if coolant, air-to-air or transmission temperatures are too high

Custom Headland Management switch (standard with performance instrumentation) allows you to program up to 30 functions including remotes, three-point hitch, throttle, and gear shifts (powershifts only) to make your complex headland operations a snap.

Up to 21 halogen work lights, plus up to an additional eight optional High-Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps, brighten the night. You can adjust eight of the work lights to focus more illumination on areas in front of, behind and to the side of the tractor. For added safety, optional rotating beacon lights can be added.

Egress lighting is standard equipment. In timer mode, you can set the lighting to remain on for up to 120 seconds after the key is switched off, to light your way out of the cab at night.

Maintaining your T9000 tractor is quick and easy, and long service intervals lower your costs. You can go up to 500 hours between oil changes—nearly twice as long as most other 4WDs.

The one-piece, tilt-up hood, that you can open from the ground, makes accessing the engine easy. The front grille swings open for access to the radiator and cooling system, and a radiator overflow bottle allows for quick visual checks of coolant level.

There are just five daily maintenance steps (and no daily greasing), all of which can be completed from ground level. You can:

  • Check fuel level using the sight gauge or by viewing the instrument cluster
  • Check engine oil with a convenient dipstick
  • Check engine coolant level using the clear plastic coolant recovery tank
  • Check transmission oil level using the sight gauge provided
  • Check axle lube/hydraulic oil using a sight gauge.
  • A new engine air intake system is featured on the large frame (T9030 and T9040) and extra-large frame (T9050 and T9060) tractors. The engine air filter is under the hood for more efficient air flow and longer filter life—and the system is easy to service too!

A clean-out trap door located under the radiator, allows you to service the radiator and cooling system without hassle.

A handy right-hand service door gives you easy access to batteries, washer fluid and axle lube filter. Steps on the door let you use a service access window to reach the electrical components in the cab and easily route monitor cables.

The single fuel tank on the rear frame eliminates time spent waiting for fuel to transfer to another tank. The 300-gallon capacity is the largest available for a 4WD tractor. It’s standard on larger frame models, while a 200-gallon tank is standard on the small frame T9020. A convenient fuel-fill platform with steps, handrail, nozzle holder and sight gauge makes refueling fast and easy.
