Stronger and more productive by design Top-of-the-line T5000 Series utility tractors add new meaning to the phrase "value added." These 70- to 96-PTO horsepower tractors are built with stronger components and heavier construction to outlast other tractors of similar horsepower. T5000 tractors excel in tough hay conditions and harsh roadside mowing applications where lighter-weight tractors simply can’t cut it. Take a look at these heavy-duty features:
Standard models offer high-productivity features with additional conveniences available as options.
Deluxe models take productivity to the next level with convenient, high-efficiency features including:
An interchangeable 540/1000-rpm PTO (540-rpm only on the T5040) powers hay equipment, forage blowers, feed wagons and mixers. Electrohydraulic PTO engagement is standard on models equipped with power shuttle transmission and optional on models with mechanical shuttle. Convenient fender-mounted PTO switch (Deluxe models) stops the PTO with one touch, and makes it easy to attach and engage implements from the ground. Add a New Holland front loader to cut material-handling jobs down to size. Choose the high-performance 830TL loader or economical 820TL loader. A new combining valve uses available flow from the steering pump to provide up to 21 gpm for faster loader operation.
State-of-the-art T5000 Series engines are tough on work but friendly to the environment. These 274-cubic inch displacement, four-cylinder engines are larger displacement than most competitors for responsive power. All T5000 engines are turbocharged and intercooled for maximum fuel efficiency and power response. B100 approved! As the biodiesel clean-energy leader, New Holland approves the use of farmer-grown B100 for all T5000 tractors.* By using clean-burning, environmentally friendly, biodiesel fuel you contribute to:
*Biodiesel must be high quality, produced to ASTM D6751 standards and purchased from a reputable supplier. A low, 2300-rpm rated engine speed further reduces engine wear, vibration and noise. A torque response of up to 47% assures you of ample power to climb grades, pull through difficult soil conditions, or run hay and harvesting equipment efficiently in heavy crop conditions. The computer-designed, parent-bore cylinder block serves as an integral structure of the tractor and includes an integrated water pump and oil cooler. Compared to previous models, the T5000 engine block is even thicker and heaver for reduced noise and vibration. Nozzles positioned under the piston flood the area with pressurized oil from the crankshaft to disperse heat and lubricate the cylinder walls. Due to this efficient method of cooling, the tolerances between the piston and cylinder wall can be reduced, eliminating piston slap for a quieter start-up. Cross-flow cylinder head design keeps intake air cool and dense for superior combustion and excellent fuel economy. The standard grid heater preheats air before it enters the chamber for quick, reliable starts in temperatures as low as -25 degrees C. No matter which model or configuration you choose, T5000 transmissions are designed for easy forward/reverse shuttling and offer a broader selection of working speeds than you get with other tractors. In-line, left-hand shuttle is standard on all T5000 tractors to free your right hand for operating the loader joystick. T5000 Standard Models 12 x 12 Synchro Command™ transmission with mechanical shuttle or optional power shuttle (standard on the 5070)
T5000 Deluxe Models 24 x 24 Dual Command™ transmission with power shuttle
Clutchless power shuttle lever (standard equipment on Deluxe models, optional on Standard models) is located to the left of the steering wheel and allows you to shuttle from forward to reverse with your fingertips without removing your hands from the wheel. The power shuttle package also includes a fully independent hydraulic wet clutch PTO system with electrohydraulic engagement, hydraulic oil cooler and pressure lubrication for the transmission. A flexible, high-capacity hydraulic system sets T5000 tractors apart. Big flow and fast cycle times result from a proven, dual-pump hydraulic system that delivers total tractor flow of 26.5 gpm. A dependable 16.1-gpm hydraulic gear pump provides hydraulic power to the remotes and three-point hitch. A separate steering pump provides 10.4 gpm to the hydrostatic steering system. A new combining valve on the steering pump automatically sends excess flow to the optional mid-mount loader valve with joystick, providing up to 21 gpm of hydraulic flow for faster loader operation. Up to three closed-center rear remote valves are available on Deluxe T5000 models and optional on Standard T5000 models. Independent flow control on the first two remotes allows you to use multiple remotes at the same time. Open-center remotes are standard equipment on Standard models. Hydraulic control levers are conveniently located next to the right side of your seat. The flow control adjustment knob (closed-center valves only) is positioned outside the rear window on cab models or behind the seat on open-deck models, where you can easily make adjustments from the operator station or from ground level. An optional monoblock mid-mount loader remote valve with a dedicated joystick control accommodates a loader. These independent valves free up the rear remotes for other functions. The highest standard three-point lift capacity in this power class—5,745-pounds—means T5000 tractors can easily handle larger implements. A whopping 6,805-pound lift capacity can be achieved with the optional dealer-installed lift assist kit. The Lift-O-Matic™ quick-lift button allows you to instantly raise or lower the three-point hitch—a handy feature not usually offered on other tractors of this size. You pre-set the upper and lower lift position settings. A mechanical draft control system uses lower link draft sensing to give you total implement control. This system allows for easy implement setup and includes working depth control, load and position control. Both the T5000 flat-deck platform and flat-deck cab are the most spacious you’ll find in this size tractor, with plenty of leg, hip, shoulder and head room. Both are isolation-mounted to reduce noise and vibration. Steps are located on each side of the tractor for easy access. Cab 57 square feet of glass includes two, wide, full-glass doors for an unobstructed view. The exhaust is tucked neatly in front of the cab post to further improve visibility. The lower overall cab height—even though the T5000 cab is the largest on the market—means you can maneuver where others cab tractors can’t. Cab models protect you from the weather and include these comfort and convenience features: Air conditioning or heat is maintained by an electronically controlled thermostat, so you remain comfortable no matter what the outside temperature. Two external cab filters keep the air clean and are easy to reach for maintenance. Both side and rear windows open for fresh air. A large, lockable toolbox with removable tray is standard. The entire toolbox can be removed to take with you. Seat Choice A mechanical suspension seat with foldable armrests and adjustments for height, fore/aft and damping allows a perfect fit for every operator. An optional air-ride seat provides added comfort with a wide seat cushion, swivel feature, adjustable air lumbar support and an adjustable back rest. Mechanical Suspension Seat Controls Clear, easy-to-read instrumentation includes gauges for engine speed, coolant temperature and fuel level, as well as a digital readout of ground speed, clock and warning indicators.
Lighting A best-in-class lighting package includes two dual-beam halogen headlights as well as two front corner work lights that illuminate the work area to the side and operate independently of the headlights. Cab tractors feature two additional front roof-mounted work lamps and two rear roof-mounted work lamps. One rear-mounted work light is standard on ROPS tractors. Flashers, turn signals and brake lights are standard on all models. Serviceability on T5000 Series tractors is second to none. Fast routine maintenance gets you on the job in no time. Single-piece hood lifts effortlessly on gas struts for unobstructed access to service points, including filters, cooler, battery and radiator. Long service intervals mean you spend less time and money on maintenance over the years. Engine oil: 600 hours The easy-access radiator includes a slide-out condenser unit for quick inspection and cleaning. A 33.5-gallon fuel tank on all models keeps fuel fills to a minimum. The low fill point location and wide filler neck makes refueling easier. ![]() |
